Today’s digest covers delays on a London Tube line, a change to free bus pass eligibility and deep job cuts at the BBC. There is also news from RAF Fairford and Gosport, and a fresh debate over fireworks.
District Line passengers log 130 hours of delays
In London, a campaign tracking problems on the District Line says passengers have recorded 130 hours of delays. If you use the District Line to get to work, the campaign is one more sign that delays on it are a recurring problem.
