Police chase from Rotterdam ends in Zoetermeer
A driver fled from police in Rotterdam last Sunday and was only arrested once officers caught up with him in Zoetermeer. The pursuit involved the police, the Marechaussee and a helicopter. Two canisters of laughing gas were found in the car.

Former FC Utrecht player still waiting on GVVV return
Barry Maguire, the 36-year-old former FC Utrecht player, was removed from the squad of Veenendaal club GVVV at the end of August after a disagreement with trainer Dennis van Beukering. The trainer has since been dismissed, which would seem to clear the way for Maguire to rejoin the Tweede Divisie side. That has not happened yet, and his return remains uncertain.
